Education and Childcare

One of the many advantages of raising a family in a rural community is the quality of education available for your children. Small classes with low teacher-student ratios provide an optimum learning environment.

MacLeans chose Boissevain School as one of the top 30 schools in Canada for innovation. The school provides kindergarten to grade 12 education. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities including sports and the arts, and become an involved member of the community.

The Turtle Mountain Adult Ed Center offers a variety of programs for mature students. This is also the home of Campus Manitoba, distance post secondary education from Brandon University, University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.

Tiny Turtle Playroom is a modern daycare facility with qualified caregivers providing care for preschool and school aged children. Tiny Turtle Playroom programs provide stimulating learning and social experiences that will embrance and encourage growth in all areas of development including physical, social, emotional and cognitive.
